Recipe FAQ

How do I prevent the dip from becoming watery?

Ensure spinach is thoroughly thawed and well-drained, squeezing out any excess moisture before mixing with other ingredients.

Can I use fresh spinach instead of frozen?

Yes, fresh spinach can be cooked, drained, and chopped before adding, but frozen spinach is more convenient and maintains consistent texture.

What is the best bread to use for the bowl?

Choose a large round loaf like sourdough or country bread with a sturdy crust to hold the dip without leaking.

How long should the dip chill before serving?

Chill the dip for at least 2 hours to allow flavors to meld and achieve the ideal creamy texture.

Crunchy raw vegetables like carrots, celery, and bell peppers complement the creamy dip with fresh texture and flavor.
