01 - Preheat grill to medium-high heat or set oven to broil setting.
02 - If using wooden skewers, submerge in water for 15 minutes to minimize charring.
03 - Thread chicken, bell pepper, and onion alternately onto prepared skewers.
04 - Brush skewers thoroughly with teriyaki sauce and season with salt and pepper as desired.
05 - Place skewers on hot grill or on a lined baking tray if broiling.
06 - Grill or broil for 12–15 minutes, turning once midway, until chicken is fully cooked and edges are lightly charred.
07 - Brush with extra teriyaki sauce during last few minutes of cooking for enhanced flavor.
