# Components:

02 - 225 g (8 oz) cream cheese, softened

04 - 50 g (1.75 oz) dark chocolate, optional for drizzling
05 - Christmas-themed sprinkles or crushed candy canes

# Directions:

01 - Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - Crush Oreo cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor or place them in a sealed bag and crush with a rolling pin.
03 - In a large mixing bowl, combine Oreo crumbs with softened cream cheese until mixture is uniform and smooth.
04 - Scoop approximately 1 tablespoon of mixture and roll into balls. Arrange balls on the prepared baking sheet.
05 - Freeze the formed balls for 30 minutes to firm their texture.
06 - Melt white chocolate or candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 20 seconds until smooth.
07 - Dip each chilled ball into melted white chocolate, fully coating. Lift with a fork and allow excess to drip off, then place back onto baking sheet.
08 - If desired, drizzle melted dark chocolate over coated truffles and decorate immediately with sprinkles or crushed candy canes.
09 - Refrigerate truffles for at least 10 minutes until chocolate coating is firm.
