# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • It’s shockingly easy to make, and nobody expects homemade agua fresca to taste this fresh.
  • The creamy coconut and tangy pineapple balance each other in a way that feels indulgently tropical, but stays light and vegan.
02 -
  • Blending for too long can make the drink foamy, so pulse carefully to keep texture smooth and pleasant.
  • Straining with a fine sieve removes pulpy bits, transforming the agua fresca into a silky sipper—don’t skip it if you love smooth drinks.
03 -
  • If using honey instead of agave, warm it gently first so it dissolves better in cold liquids.
  • A splash of vanilla extract can deepen the flavor—just a quarter teaspoon transforms the drink.
