01 - Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, pepper, and smoked paprika until well blended.
03 - Add shredded cheddar and grated Parmesan cheese to the dry mixture. Stir to evenly coat the cheese.
04 - In a separate bowl, whisk pumpkin purée, buttermilk, egg, and melted butter until smooth and homogenous.
05 - Pour wet mixture into the dry ingredients. Add chives and minced garlic, gently mix just until combined. Avoid overmixing.
06 - Using a cookie scoop or two spoons, portion dough into 16 mounds and place them on the prepared baking sheet, spaced apart.
07 - Transfer to oven and bake for 16–18 minutes until biscuit balls are puffed, golden, and fully cooked.
08 - Let cool briefly before presenting warm.
